This easy asparagus casserole recipe is my riff on my roasted asparagus, for when you want something a little fancy and a little brunch-y… without much extra effort. The simple addition of melty cheeses, a few real garlic cloves, and a creamy drizzle of my hollandaise sauce give it a totally different vibe, but it’s almost just as easy! And yes, it’s as delicious as it sounds.
Ingredients
- 2 bunches of asparagus
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 ounce soft cream cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon chicken broth
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/8 cup Pepper Jack cheese, shredded
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/3 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
