Smoky Boiled Beef Bacon Strips

Directions:

1. In a large deep skillet or saucepan, lay the beef bacon slices flat and pour in enough water to cover them completely.
2. Add the garlic cloves, peppercorns, bay leaf, apple cider vinegar, and smoked paprika.
3. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.
4. Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium and let it simmer gently for 10–12 minutes.
5. When the bacon looks fully cooked and slightly firm, carefully remove it with tongs and place it on a paper towel to drain.
6. For a crispier texture, transfer the boiled bacon to a nonstick pan and lightly sear each side for 1–2 minutes.
7. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley, alongside eggs, rice, or use in wraps and sandwiches.
